WHIRINAKI CAMP
In September 2019 a large group of Club members spent two night at the Whirinaki Recreation Camp in spectacular surroundings. The Podocarp forest, birdlife and beautiful rivers and streams provided us with some amazing photographic opportunities and we were all of the opinion we need to make it a yearly trip.
On Friday 20th of April 2018 we opened our exhibition "VIEW POINTS" to a large and very enthusiastic crowd. This exhibition represents the best recent images from the members of the Whakatane Camera Club and it is a show we are very proud of. Our exhibition committee teamed up with staff from the Whakatane Museum Gallery to create a vibrant exhibition that utilizes some of the most contemporary and innovative hanging styles to date. The feedback we have received has been fantastic! Many Thanks to Landmark Homes for their sponsorship which was much appreciated.
